Following the closure of the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) on 31 July 2024, Australia no longer offers a broad range of dedicated business migration visas for new applicants. The main options currently available are:
National Innovation Visa (Subclass 858)
Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) Visa (Subclass 888)
Business Visitor Stream (Visitor Visa Subclass 600)

While these are not business visas, many entrepreneurs now migrate through:
Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) (including self-sponsorship where legally appropriate)
Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491) (where state or territory business-owner streams are available)
Employer-sponsored permanent residence pathways
