Temporary Worker – International Agreement (Tier 5)

Overview:  Work in the UK under special international agreements and treaties. This visa lets you take on roles covered by global contracts, like diplomatic or overseas government work. It’s a short-term opportunity with a big career boost.

The International agreement category is for people coming to the UK under contract to do work that is covered under international law, including:

• the General Agreement Trade in Services (GATS);
• similar agreements between the UK or the European Union and another country or countries
• employees of overseas governments and international organizations;
• private servants in diplomatic households

Successful applicants can stay for a maximum of 24 months, with some exceptions and can extend their stay for “leave to remain.
