Switzerland Student Visa

There are two types of student visas, depending on the duration of your studies in Switzerland.

• C Visa – is a short-stay visa which is for courses that are up to 90 days, such as language schools, summer schools etc.
• D visa – is a long-stay visa for students studying in Switzerland for a period longer than 180 days.  International students are granted a Schengen visa for a period of one year with the possibility of extension.
