The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), “EB-5” Immigrants Investor Program was created to boost the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment through foreign investors.
What is an EB-5 visa?
EB-5 visa is a program that provides a pathway for foreign investors and their families to become lawful permanent US residents (Green Card) through investment into a US Regional Center Project or in a new business directly.
The Act requires a capital investment of $1.05 million for all areas, except in rural areas and high unemployment areas also known as “Targeted employment areas” (TEA).
Investment in a TEA has the advantage of:

- And a lower investment threshold of $800,000.
