Requirements
- Have recognized educational qualifications
- Have eligible work experience in a skilled occupation in one of the eligible lists of occupations (O – managerial, A – professional or B – technical and skilled trades occupations under the Canadian NOC list)
- of at least one year in the same occupation
- continuous and paid (full-time or equivalent part-time).
- within the last 10 years
- Meet minimum language requirements (English or French)
- Show proof of sufficient funds for arrival
- Not fall under a category of inadmissibility (e.g. character, health, security risks)
Sufficient points under selections criteria based on:
- English and/or French ability
- education and work experience
- agency arranged employment in Canada
- adaptability (partner’s study. partner’s language ability, presence of relatives etc.)
- Acquisition of a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Nomination.
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Nomination adds a whopping number of points (i.e. 600) to your CRS score
Successful applicants will obtain Canadian permanent residence entitling them to live and work in Canada.
