Overview:   The F Visa opens the door to study in the U.S., but it comes with clear rules. You can learn, grow, and explore—yet must follow strict academic and status requirements. One misstep, and your legal stay could be at risk.

An F1 visa for international students who wish to study in the UK full-time at an accredited high school; college, university, or other academic institution.  It may also apply to students of English language courses.

This visa enables a successful applicant to study at an approved US educational institution for the duration of the study course, provided they continue to meet the visa conditions.

  • be enrolled in an academic or language educational program at an approved school or academic institution in the US.
  • be enrolled full-time (18 hours per week or more)
  • have sufficient funds to support themselves for the duration of their course
  • show genuine intent to return to their home country upon completion of their studies.
