Entrepreneur
Overview: Starting fresh in New Zealand as an entrepreneur is exciting and full of possibility. Migration opens doors to new markets, fresh ideas, and a vibrant business culture. With the right vision, you can turn opportunity into success.
People who have successfully, bought or established a business in New Zealand (such as under the Long-Term Business Visa) can apply for residence under this category. They must have been running the business in New Zealand for at least two years and be able to show its benefit to New Zealand’s economic growth. Applicants must meet minimum English language requirements (IELTS 4), but there is no age requirement. Applicants must also meet health and character requirements.
Entrepreneur Plan
The Entrepreneur Plus Category is similar to the above category but enables residence sooner because the applicant is not required to operate a business for a period of time before applying. As well as meeting general health requirements.
